I have been quite detached from my realm of writing and self expression. I may have gone through what we call a writers block. Even on paper I had less to say. As always I had to empty my thoughts and go through a cleansing ritual only I seem to enjoy and know. *winks*
Weeks of non-stop reading and a long vacation away from all the hustle and bustle of my not-so-fun life had to do the trick. I bought 6 books to devour. This may not be a new thing but still I'm not one to spend a huge amount but this time around I wasn't thinking straight. I had to splurge.
To search for inspiration I went on a 7day-long trip to Manila where I learned what it was like to live in a dorm, ride the public transportation. Yes! I tried commuting in the not-so-safe streets of Manila. And I'm talking about Recto my dear readers. I survived one of Manila's danger zones. and Yes I had a blast!
After the trip I had to get back to work, but my recharging days wasn't over. I chose to call in sick one night. My reason..I had to cross the Iloilo River bound for Bacolod. I had to go with my mom and sister and rejuvenate thy self. The Spa Natura in Bacolod was the best experience I had. Think of a face and body scrub with a hint of Shiatsu - Perfect! =)
Going through all this made me want to write about my adventure. The next few blogs would be about my great escapes.
